Launch of the AgriFoRwArdS Seminar Series

The newly launched AgriFoRwArdS Seminar Series is a series talks which will give an opportunity to people: academics, industry representatives, students and public figures, who would like to share their ideas about possible synergy between agriculture and food supply, industry and robotics, as well as related issues such as changes in global workforce and economics as well as Robotics research ethics issues.

TheseĀ  monthly talks will be held every 3rd Friday of the month via Zoom, a conference platform which was tested with great success during our CDT Annual Conference in March. Each talk will consist of a 20 minute presentation and 10 minute question and answer session.

Our opening to the series will be held on 19th June 2020 with a presentation by Dr Matthew Howards, Senior Lecturer at King’s College London. Dr Howards will talk on ‘Automation through Grower-reprogrammable Robotics’.
