- July 2021 – Amie Owen and Mazvydas Gudelis, along with the rest of their Summer School 2021 group, receive the award for the Best Summer School Presentation at the AgriFoRwArdS CDT Annual Conference 2021, for their presentation titled ‘Computer vision for quality assessment of apples’.
- July 2021 – Garry Clawson (an incoming student at the time) receives the award for best question at the AgriFoRwArdS CDT Annual Conference 2021.
- July 2021 – Karoline Heiwolt receives the award for the Best Student Presentation at the AgriFoRwArdS CDT Annual Conference 2021, for her presentation titled ‘Using deep learning for semantic segmentation of 3D plant point clouds’.
